In his sermon Huzur continued with the subject of Divine Compassion, Al Ra’uf. Speaking with reference to verse (3:31) of Surah Al e Imran. Huzur explained the subject with the help of Quranic verses, hadith and the conduct of both the Holy prophet (pbuh) and the Promised messiah (as). Allah certainly has a most kind and compassionate way with His servants. He overlooks our evil deeds and does not show any haste while giving punishment. God has shown mercy upon us by continuously showing us signs of danger and teaching us precautions in the Holy Quran. Allah has decided that His mercy will always overcome His wrath. Paradise will be bestowed with Allah’s mercy only. Holy Prophet (pbuh) taught us to be merciful towards animals also. In the end Huzur mentioned the successful Jalsa in Qadian. An attendance of 40,000 and participation of members of Hazrat Amma Jan’s family.

Huzur continued with the subject of Divine attribute of Al Ra’uf, The compassionate. Huzur delivered his sermon in the light of Quranic verses, Hadith, conduct of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and that of the Promised Messiah (as). The extent of Allah’s mercy is not only for the believers but for the whole mankind. Holy prophet (pbuh) is ‘Mercy for all the worlds’. Huzur enjoined to continuously invoke blessings on the Holy Prophet (pbuh). The narration of the Promised Messiah (as)’s benevolence. Once Hazrat Maulvi Noor udin sb accidently lost one of Huzur’s essays, but Huzur reacted without any sign of anger and said that Allah will grant him the opportunity to write another one.

Huzur commenced on a series of sermons on the Divine attributes of Al Ra’uf, The Compassionate. Being compassionate denotes extreme mercy and kindness of Allah. Allah has guided the Muslim ummah (people) to adopt a balanced approach. The Promised Messiah(as) said that blessed is he who adapts balance and a moderate approach.

A brief Eid sermon. Huzur narrated two hadith in the context of Eid falling on a Friday. Those hadith encouraged that it is not compulsory to offer Friday prayers when Eid falls on a Friday. The request to pray for Ahmadi martyrs and those brave soldiers of Allah who are been improsined without committing any crime. Huzur concluded the sermon with prayers and Eid greetings.

Further expounding the divine attribute of Al Nur or The Light, Huzur (rt) elucidated verse (66:9) of Surah Al Tahrim in his sermon. Holy Prophet (pbuh) said that on the Day of Judgment, he would recognize and identify his ummah for their books of deeds will be handed to them in their right hands and there would be a Nur (light) running before them. The promised Messiah (as) further explained this and wrote that people who possessed Nur of faith in this world would be as if immersed in this Nur on the Day of Judgment and they would be beseeching their Lord to make this light reach the point of excellence.

In continuation of last week’s sermon Huzur further elucidated the verses of Surah Al Talaq that illustrate the Divine attribute of Al Nur or The Light.Quoting from various commentaries Huzur said that the verses depict non-belief as darkness and the knowledge of Allah’s Signs as Nur or Light and mention the abundance with which the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) recited the Holy Quran, which in turn illuminated the world with the message of Allah.Huzur said that Nur certainly comes from Allah the Exalted and indeed His book; the Holy Quran and His Messenger, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) are most the excellent portrayals of His Nur. Conclusion with a prayer that may the Jama’t be driven for the sake of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) into Light out of darkness.

"Huzur elucidated the Divine attribute of Al Nur and its various aspects with the help of Quranic verses, sayings of the previous commentators and writings of the Promised Messiah (as). The recitation of Verses 11 and 12 of Surah Al Talaq. God sent the Holy Prophet (pbuh) to enlighten the people with the Light of the Holy Quran and to take them out of ignorance’s reign. The Holy Prophet (pbuh) came at a time when the entire world was drenched in darkness. Holy Prophet (pbuh) was bestowed with Nur of the highest decree.

Huzur recited verse 20 of surah Al Hadid and then further explained the verse in light of the Hadith and the sayings, teachings and revelations of the Promissed messiah (as). Those who will fear Allah will attain the same position as of a martyr and a prophet even if they are not actually one. They are the ones who love each other for the sake of Allah. They will not have any fear. Nur here denotes real Nur, according to one commentator.
