Elucidating the Quranic concept of the Divine attribute of The Mighty Al-Aziz, in his Friday Sermon today Hazoor cited several verses of Surah Al Anfal and expounded the subject further in light of ahadith and writings of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace). Hazoor said that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) had a sense of foreboding regarding hypocrites from among his people and that the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said that hypocrisy and deceit was the greatest of all sins and that one should always pray that God saves one from it.
Commenting on the blessing of mutual love and brotherhood for the sake of God, Hazoor said that the grace that is derived from a communal standpoint couldn't be obtained by small clusters of people, that the essence of this was in that it is indeed extremely complex to get two individuals to agree on one point, and in the instance when this concord is achieved, Allah's grace is granted. Hazoor explained that the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) said that his being would bring about a peaceful community and that the camaraderie and the obedience of the Companions of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him) was a manifestation of his own supreme holiness.
Hazoor said it is the dignity of the believers that they enjoin good and forbid evil and that one should maintain a gentle approach when doing so. One should fear Allah and show the kind of compassion to one's brother that one reserves for one's own self.
Illustrating the magnitude of the Holy Quran Hazoor said that this is a book that eliminates all doubts and uncertainties and grants man the light of perfect cognisance
