The Holy Quran : Chapter 53: Al-Najm
النّجْم
Quranic Script Style:
[53:1]
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
[53:1]
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
[53:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
[53:1] اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ جو بے انتہا رحم کرنے والا، بِن مانگے دینے والا (اور) بار بار رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
[53:2]
وَالنَّجْمِ اِذَا هَوٰىۙ
[53:2]
وَٱلنَّجۡمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ
[53:2] By the stemless plant when it falls,
[53:2] قسم ہے ستارے کی جب وہ گر جائے گا۔
[53:3]
مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوٰىۚ
[53:3]
مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمۡ وَمَا غَوَىٰ
[53:3] Your companion has neither erred, nor has he gone astray,
[53:3] تمہارا ساتھی نہ تو گمراہ ہوا اور نہ ہی نامراد رہا ۔
[53:4]
وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوٰىؕ
[53:4]
وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ ٱلۡهَوَىٰٓ
[53:4] Nor does he speak out of his own desire.
[53:4] اور وہ خواہشِ نفس سے کلام نہیں کرتا۔
[53:5]
اِنْ هُوَ اِلَّا وَحْىٌ يُّوْحٰىۙ
[53:5]
إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحۡىٌ۬ يُوحَىٰ
[53:5] It is nothing but pure revelation that has been revealed by God .
[53:5] یہ تو محض ایک وحی ہے جو اُتاری جارہی ہے۔
[53:6]
عَلَّمَهٗ شَدِيْدُ الْقُوٰىۙ
[53:6]
عَلَّمَهُ ۥ شَدِيدُ ٱلۡقُوَىٰ
[53:6] The Lord of mighty powers has taught him,
[53:6] اسے مضبوط طاقتوں والے نے سکھایا ہے ۔
[53:7]
ذُوْ مِرَّةٍؕ فَاسْتَوٰىۙ
[53:7]
ذُو مِرَّةٍ۬ فَٱسۡتَوَىٰ
[53:7] The One Possessor of strength. So He manifested His ascendance over everything ,
[53:7] (جو) بڑی حکمت والا ہے ۔ پس وہ فائز ہوا۔
[53:8]
وَهُوَ بِالْاُفُقِ الْاَعْلٰىؕ
[53:8]
وَهُوَ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ
[53:8] And He revealed His Word when he was on the uppermost horizon,
[53:8] جبکہ وہ بلند ترین اُفق پر تھا۔
[53:9]
ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلّٰىۙ
[53:9]
ثُمَّ دَنَا فَتَدَلَّىٰ
[53:9] Then he drew nearer to God ; then he came down to mankind ,
[53:9] پھر وہ نزدیک ہوا۔ پھر وہ نیچے اُتر آیا۔
[53:10]
فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوْسَيْنِ اَوْ اَدْنٰىۚ
[53:10]
فَكَانَ قَابَ قَوۡسَيۡنِ أَوۡ أَدۡنَىٰ
[53:10] So that he became, as it were , one chord to two bows or closer still.
[53:10] پس وہ دو قوسوں کے وتر کی طرح ہوگیا یا اس سے بھی قریب تر۔
