The Holy Quran : Chapter 80: `Abasa
عَبَسَ
Quranic Script Style:
[80:1]
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
[80:1]
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
[80:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
[80:1] اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ جو بے انتہا رحم کرنے والا، بِن مانگے دینے والا (اور) بار بار رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
[80:2]
عَبَسَ وَتَوَلّٰٓىۙ
[80:2]
عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
[80:2] He frowned and turned aside,
[80:2] اُس نے تیوری چڑھائی اور منہ پھیر لیا۔
[80:3]
اَنْ جَآءَهُ الْاَعْمٰىؕ
[80:3]
أَن جَآءَهُ ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ
[80:3] Because there came to him the blind man.
[80:3] کہ اُس کے پاس ایک اندھا آیا۔
[80:4]
وَمَا يُدْرِيْكَ لَعَلَّهٗ يَزَّكّٰٓىۙ
[80:4]
وَمَا يُدۡرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُ ۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ
[80:4] And what makes thee know that he may be seeking to purify himself,
[80:4] اور تُجھے کیا سمجھائے کہ ہو سکتا تھا وہ بہت پاک ہو جاتا۔
[80:5]
اَوْ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنْفَعَهُ الذِّكْرٰىؕ
[80:5]
أَوۡ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنفَعَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰٓ
[80:5] Or he may take heed and the Reminder may benefit him?
[80:5] یا نصیحت پر غور کرتا تو نصیحت اُسے فائدہ پہنچاتی۔
[80:6]
اَمَّا مَنِ اسْتَغْنٰىۙ
[80:6]
أَمَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ
[80:6] As for him who is disdainfully indifferent.
[80:6] وہ جس نے بے پروائی کی۔
[80:7]
فَاَنْتَ لَهٗ تَصَدّٰىؕ
[80:7]
فَأَنتَ لَهُ ۥ تَصَدَّىٰ
[80:7] Unto him thou dost pay attention,
[80:7] تُو اُس کی طرف متوجہ ہے۔
[80:8]
وَمَا عَلَيْكَ اَلَّا يَزَّكّٰٓىؕ
[80:8]
وَمَا عَلَيۡكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ
[80:8] Though thou art not responsible if he does not become purified.
[80:8] حالانکہ تُجھ پر کوئی ذمہ داری نہیں اگر وہ پاکیزگی اختیار نہ کرے۔
[80:9]
وَاَمَّا مَنْ جَآءَكَ يَسْعٰىۙ
[80:9]
وَأَمَّا مَن جَآءَكَ يَسۡعَىٰ
[80:9] But he who comes to thee hastening,
[80:9] اور وہ جو تیرے پاس بڑی کوشش سے آیا۔
[80:10]
وَهُوَ يَخْشٰىۙ
[80:10]
وَهُوَ يَخۡشَىٰ
[80:10] And he fears God ,
[80:10] اور وہ ڈر رہا تھا۔
