The Holy Quran : Chapter 85: Al-Buruj
البُرُوج
Quranic Script Style:
[85:1]
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
[85:1]
بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
[85:1] In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
[85:1] اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ جو بے انتہا رحم کرنے والا، بِن مانگے دینے والا (اور) بار بار رحم کرنے والا ہے۔
[85:2]
وَالسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوْجِۙ
[85:2]
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡبُرُوجِ
[85:2] By the heaven having mansions of stars ,
[85:2] قسم ہے برجوں والے آسمان کی۔
[85:3]
وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُوْدِۙ
[85:3]
وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ
[85:3] And by the Promised Day,
[85:3] اور موعود دن کی۔
[85:4]
وَشَاهِدٍ وَّمَشْهُوْدٍؕ
[85:4]
وَشَاهِدٍ۬ وَمَشۡہُودٍ۬
[85:4] And by the Witness and that about whom witness has been borne,
[85:4] اور ایک گواہی دینے والے کی اور اُس کی جس کی گواہی دی جائے گی۔
[85:5]
قُتِلَ اَصْحٰبُ الْاُخْدُوْدِۙ
[85:5]
قُتِلَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ
[85:5] Cursed be the Fellows of the Trench —
[85:5] ہلاک کردیئے جائیں گے کھائیوں والے۔
[85:6]
النَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُوْدِۙ
[85:6]
ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡوَقُودِ
[85:6] The fire fed with fuel —
[85:6] یعنی اُس آگ والے جو بہت ایندھن والی ہے۔
[85:7]
اِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُوْدٌۙ
[85:7]
إِذۡ هُمۡ عَلَيۡہَا قُعُودٌ۬
[85:7] As they sat by it,
[85:7] جب وہ اُس کے گرد بیٹھے ہوں گے۔
[85:8]
وَّهُمْ عَلٰى مَا يَفْعَلُوْنَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ شُهُوْدٌؕ
[85:8]
وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ شُہُودٌ۬
[85:8] And they witnessed what they did to the believers.
[85:8] اور وہ اُس پر گواہ ہوں گے جو وہ مومنوں سے کریں گے۔
[85:9]
وَمَا نَقَمُوْا مِنْهُمْ اِلَّاۤ اَنْ يُّؤْمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ الْعَزِيْزِ الْحَمِيْدِۙ
[85:9]
وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡہُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ
[85:9] And they hated them not but because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praiseworthy,
[85:9] اور وہ اُن سے پرخاش نہیں رکھتے مگر اس بنا پر کہ وہ اللہ، کامل غلبہ رکھنے والے، صاحبِ حمد پر ایمان لے آئے۔
[85:10]
الَّذِىْ لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِؕ وَ اللّٰهُ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ شَهِيْدٌؕ
[85:10]
ٱلَّذِى لَهُ ۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ۬ شَہِيدٌ
[85:10] To Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Witness over all things.
[85:10] جس کی آسمانوں اور زمین کی بادشاہی ہے اور اللہ ہر چیز پر گواہ ہے۔
