First Mosque in Spain
After assuming the exalted office of the Caliphate Hazrat Khalifat al-Masih the Fourth traveled to Europe to inaugurate the first Ahmadiyya mosque built in Pedroabad (25 km outside Cordoba) Spain. On September 10th, 1982 Huzoor inaugurated the mosque that was built after almost seven hundred years in this once Islamic country. The Third Caliph had laid the foundation stone on October 9th, 1980.
