In continuation of the subject of the Divine attribute of Al-Nur (The Light) Hazoor delivered his Friday Sermon today based on verse (57:29) of Surah Hadid. The verse declares that if the believers abide by and discharge of their obligations they will be granted singular blessings and beneficence, the verse terms these blessings as Nur or light.
Reading excerpts from the writings of the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) Hazoor elucidated that the Nur granted to chosen people is manifested in the form of revelation and visions and is descended on the hearts of these people. With reference to the Day of Judgement he said that this Nur or spiritual light that has been granted in an unseen and concealed manner to these special people of God, would surround them and would be exhibited openly for all to behold. Hazoor said that the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) enjoined that if the believers adopt righteousness Allah the Exalted distinguishes them from the rest and this distinction is evident in the shape of the light of revelation, wonders and miracles that they are associated with.
In conclusion Hazoor narrated some revelations and some Urdu rendering of a few Persian verses by the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) that depict the splendorous light Nur bestowed on the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be on him).
