The Holy Quran 28:59 – Al-Qasas (الْقَصَصِ)

وَکَمۡ اَہۡلَکۡنَا مِنۡ قَرۡیَۃٍۭ بَطِرَتۡ مَعِیۡشَتَہَا ۚ فَتِلۡکَ مَسٰکِنُہُمۡ لَمۡ تُسۡکَنۡ مِّنۡۢ بَعۡدِہِمۡ اِلَّا قَلِیۡلًا ؕ وَکُنَّا نَحۡنُ الۡوٰرِثِیۡنَ ﴿۵۹﴾

English translation by Maulawi Sher Ali

And how many a habitation have We destroyed which exulted in its manner of life! And these are their dwellings which have not been inhabited after them except a little. And it is We Who became the Inheritors.

اُردو ترجمہ حضرت مرزا طاہر احمدؒ

اور ہم نے کتنی ہی بستیوں کو ہلاک کیا جو اپنی معیشت پر اِتراتی تھیں۔ پس یہ اُن کے مساکن ہیں جنہیں اُن کے بعد آباد نہ رکھا گیا مگر تھوڑا۔ اور یقیناً ہم ہی وارث ہوئے۔
