Background and Participation in the Battle of Badr

Hazrat Abu Makhshi al-Tai is known by his title of Abu Makhshi. His name was Suwaid bin Makhshi. Abu Makhshi al-Tai was a confederate of Banu Asad and he was amongst the first to migrate. He participated in the Battle of Badr.
