Can women lead men in Salat?

In shariah, the congregational prayers are not mandatory (fardh) on women. If a Muslim woman joins in congregational Salat, she will be awarded blessings, however if she misses congregational prayers, it is not a sin.

There is no case in the life of the Holy Prophet(sa) or the Companions where a woman led other men in prayers. Certainly, if there are only women present, a woman can become the Imam for other women. However, they cannot lead men in prayers.
